We are excited to announce our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on February 25th, 2025 from 7pm - 8pm on Zoom. You can join as a guest, or if you would like to vote to elect Board members, approve financials, and address the Board to share thoughts, insights and suggestions, please join our membership. Following the AGM, members will be invited for an exclusive one-hour tour of Sandown Centre.
The Circular Farm and Food Society (CFFS), the non-profit organization that operates the Sandown Centre for Regenerative Agriculture, is accepting up to two new board members at large and a Secretary (Executive position) for 2025. Our mission is to empower farmers, restore land, and secure our food future.
If you are excited about regenerative farming, the environment, and creating resilient communities, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact. We welcome applicants with diverse perspectives, skills, and experiences, especially in areas such as non-profit governance, sustainable food systems, local government, and environmental stewardship.
We are committed to fostering justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion and strongly encourage applications from Indigenous people, whose perspectives and knowledge are vital to shaping a more equitable and regenerative future.
Help us grow the future of food and stewardship—apply today! Visit our website to learn more about CFFS and submit your application below. Following your application, we will contact you for an interview to discuss your experience, interest, and understanding of CFFS. Board members meet online once a month and positions are for a term of one year, from the date of the AGM. Candidates are required to be an active member of CFFS.
We have an opening in our Regenerative Farmer Program! Looking to start your own farm? We have a 1/2 acre plot available, complete with shared tools, a wash and pack facility, greenhouse space, and more. Email Emily at info@sandowncentre.com for more information.
